Jones had a good start during the first 6 rounds had knocked Calzaghe on his knees but unfortunately Calzaghe had cut his brows so bad that Jones lost his momentum and Calzaghe win by unanimous decision. Right now Jones badly need to win the fight against top fighter Omar Sheika.
Omar Sheika (27-8, 18 KOs) did something that Roy Jones Jr did not accomplished. He defeated Glen Johnson by a unanimous decision on June 2000. Omar Sheika's last fight was on September 2007 where he win against Tiwon Taylor by knocking him down on the fourth round. He will now fight Roy Jones Jr after 1 year and six months of vacation.
